This school offers the education program. Students cannot declare an education major until completing nine credits in education courses. The overall college GPA must be at least 3.0 and the GPA for all education courses must be at least 3.0. Grades in College Writing I and II must also be no less than B. Other programs available at this school include business management, finance, biology, accounting, information systems, and criminal justice.
The School of Health Sciences is located in Bay Shore. It houses the nursing program. At this time applications are only being accepted for the Bachelor of Science degree and the RN to BSN program. Admission to the Bachelor of Science program is only for students who have high school transcripts or a GED diploma and test scores. Students entering the program must have a minimum composite score of 120 on the NLN-PAX nursing entrance exam, hold a minimum GPA of 2.75 for all college level courses, and students must take the college placement tests in English Composition and Mathematics prior to the start of the first semester.
