Applicants to the college must be high school graduates or have successfully completed a GED.  Students are required to take a placement assessment as part of the application process.

The School of Nursing offers programs ranging from a diploma program in practical nursing, to professional nursing and bachelor’s programs, to a master’s degree level program.  Students graduating from the Professional Nursing Program earn an Associate of Science degree and may sit for the National Council Licensure Examination (NCLEX-RN).  Entrance to the program requires additional admission criteria such as a background check and scores on the ATI TEAS exam.  The School of Education offers certificate, diploma, associate’s, and bachelor’s degree programs in Early Childhood Education.  These programs do not prepare students to be licensed public school educators, but they do prepare students to work in the childcare field.
