I think the whole TSIA2 course was designed very well. I am super scared of Math in general. Have started studying after 35 yrs, so this course was a saviour. It was very clear and precise for my needs. Thank you for creating it. I annihilated the TSIA2 test! The most helpful part of the course for me was it’s step-by-step format and practice questions and its slowly ramps up in difficulty - which kept me motivated. The way the course is formatted made it incredibly satisfying and easy to learn. Raul Gamboa

Thank you so much for your lessons! I came into this having forgotten pretty much everything about math except the basics and I left confidently taking the TSI and passing with no trouble at all! I was impressed by my score (976!) and so proud of myself! I can’t thank you enough. I really liked how easy it was to follow the videos and the freedom to go at my own pace. Thank you from a 35 year old mother of 3 finally following her dreams to become a teacher. I truly couldn’t have done it without you! Jessica Berger

I started using MathHelp because I was going to take a placement test to go back to College. The test went really well. My score on Quantitative Reasoning, Algebra, and Statistics was 274 which is very good for the Next-Gen Accuplacer test. The lady at the College said it was the best score she had seen in a while. I have nothing but to thank MathHelp for the review and the very well structured and easy to follow classes, it really helped me. I'm starting College Algebra this upcoming Spring Semester and will definitely come back to MathHelp in case I need some outside help. Camila Silva

My Math TSIA2 went great! I completed and passed the first 20 questions and didn’t have to finish the rest. 👍🏼 I think the lessons were great, coming from someone who hasn’t studied this material in 20 years. It was very thorough and you did a great job! Thanks again! Sheila Sanchez

I did well on the TSIA2 and am thankful for your course. I found the instruction and pace to be very helpful. The amount of practice questions provided for each topic was perfect and I liked how I could pause the quizzes to review the material a little more if I felt unsure. I’m very happy to have found MathHelp and will sing its praises from here on out. Thank you so much for the help you provided! Thank you SO MUCH! I PASSED THE TSI WITH FLYING COLORS and I wouldn't have walked in there with the confidence had it not been for your awesome program! I really feel like how you explained it made it click for me. I was able to comprehend the material and feel like that is due in large to the direct, repetitive nature of the course. It's organized very well. The fact that there's audio for every practice problem is VERY helpful. It's one thing to have a video teaching a concept, but to have you explaining the work and reinforcing the concepts as I'm practicing on my own really helped more than just having the answer given without explanation. The TSIA2 course I took was a tremendous help. I went into the course knowing very little about math other than middle school level basics. I took math when I was in high school but I never understood what was going on and I had just barley scrapped by. This course is the first thing I've ever been able to understand on the topic of math. I feel confident to go to college now that I have a clue on what's going on. Thank you so much. Gaige Wildhunt

What's the best way to use your TSI study guide?
Each lesson in our Texas Success Initiative Assessment study guide begins with the link to a pre-test that allows you to determine if you need that particular lesson. If you score well, you can skip the lesson. If you score poorly, then go into the lesson and master the concept using all of the tutoring we provide. By taking advantage of these quick practice tests, you can move through the program as efficiently as possible.
On the other end of the spectrum, if you're still having difficulty with a lesson - even after the help from our teachers - we provide background lessons that allow you to strengthen your understanding of the basic concepts behind the lesson you're studying. These can be a life-saver for anyone with a particularly weak background in math.
What is the TSI math test?
The math section of the TSI Test is used by Texas public colleges to assess your abilities in order to determine which math class is best suited to your skills.
It’s important to be prepared for the TSI test because the result of getting a low score is that you’ll be placed in a remedial math class. This will be a drain on your time and your finances that you could have easily avoided.
The content on the TSI math test includes topics from algebra, geometry, measurement, statistical reasoning, and probability. Many of these TSI math questions can be difficult for students. That’s why we’re here – to help you understand these challenging concepts and make sure you can escape remedial math.
How can I best prepare for the TSI?
Although the TSI covers several subject areas, math is usually the one that holds students back. Our TSI study guide will help you focus on this critical area and ace the math placement test when the time comes. You won't need any other resources, which makes your preparation very straightforward and takes the stress away. Additionally, completing a TSI math practice test will ensure you are well-prepared for the exam day.
