The Intermediate Algebra was very helpful!Pamela Veshti - August 2024
I found the Intermediate Algebra course offered through MathHelp.com incredibly helpful and well done. I tried out a few math learning sites before MathHelp.com and found their formats weren’t detailed enough for my liking. Your combination of short lessons with practise questions and tests was the perfect setup for me. I just enrolled in college after a 17 year break from school and scored a perfect 100% on my first test all thanks to the skills I learned on MathHelp.com. I’ve been recommending it to everyone I know.Lynn Whitney - October 2023
It helped prepare me for intermediate algebra class and was very easy to understand the concepts it was teaching.Ethan Hall - April 2022
I’d like you to know that I absolutely love the Intermediate Algebra program, and will likely be signing back up in January for the College Algebra course. I’m 36 years old and have always struggled with math, so your program is absolutely the reason why I was able to sustain a B grade. I think the reason that your program works so well is because you keep it short and to the point. All the steps are shown, you don’t use a bunch of extra words and jargon. I feel confident in the course and that’s simply 100% from your program. Thank you for all the help, it’s been quite an amazing transformation for me.Jen Fromberg - December 2020
Thank you so much for this algebra course!!! I am enrolled in an online college degree program at Penn Foster College. I am a Graphic Design major, but they stuck me in an algebra class. I do NOT have a mind for math, I barely made it through math in school. So this class has been devastating for me, my entire degree depends on this one class! I have never had algebra in my entire life and they put me in Intermediate Algebra right off the bat! Oh, did I mention that they do not actually teach the classes they offer, they send you the text book, and you are literally on your own. Your classes are a lifesaver! I thought I was looking at Chinese, but your step by step lessons actually made sense. If it weren't for you I would have flunked out a long time ago, and lost any chance to get the degree that I have worked so hard on. You are providing a much needed service, THANK YOU SO MUCH!!!Katrina Green - November 2020
I love this program. I didn’t do Math for 13 years so I subscribed to MathHelp two months before I started my Intermediate Algebra class. I was ahead of the lessons and I would always come back to MathHelp as my primary source for understanding a topic.. The explanations were clear and the teachers were awesome. My favorite was the gentleman. He explained so clearly that I understood and then I made sure to practice and practice and practice. I received a B+ in my course.Kaheila Edwards - August 2020

What is Intermediate Algebra?
Intermediate algebra for college students is a remedial course required for students who have not demonstrated readiness for successful study of College Algebra. At many colleges, it is the third in a series of remedial courses that begins with college pre-algebra (or basic skills mathematics), followed by elementary (or introductory) algebra, and ending with intermediate algebra. Students taking intermediate algebra should already have a foundation of some basic algebraic skills.
The concepts taught in intermediate algebra are similar to those of a high school Algebra II course. These include linear equations in one and two variables, exponents, polynomials, factoring, quadratic equations, roots and radicals, rational expressions and equations, functions and graphing, real and complex numbers.
