Thank you so much for your lessons! I came into this having forgotten pretty much everything about math except the basics and I left confidently taking the TSI and passing with no trouble at all! I started using MathHelp because I was going to take a placement test to go back to College. The test went really well. My score on Quantitative Reasoning, Algebra, and Statistics was 274 which is very good for the Next-Gen Accuplacer test. The lady at the College said it was the best score she had seen in a while. I have nothing but to thank MathHelp for the review and the very well structured and easy to follow classes, it really helped me. I'm starting College Algebra this upcoming Spring Semester and will definitely come back to MathHelp in case I need some outside help.

I did well on the TSIA2 and am thankful for your course. I found the instruction and pace to be very helpful. The amount of practice questions provided for each topic was perfect and I liked how I could pause the quizzes to review the material a little more if I felt unsure. Thank you SO MUCH! I PASSED THE TSI WITH FLYING COLORS and I wouldn't have walked in there with the confidence had it not been for your awesome program! I really feel like how you explained it made it click for me. I was able to comprehend the material and feel like that is due in large to the direct, repetitive nature of the course. It's organized very well. The fact that there's audio for every practice problem is VERY helpful. It's one thing to have a video teaching a concept, but to have you explaining the work and reinforcing the concepts as I'm practicing on my own really helped more than just having the answer given without explanation.

The TSIA2 course I took was a tremendous help. I went into the course knowing very little about math other than middle school level basics. I took math when I was in high school but I never understood what was going on and I had just barley scrapped by. San Antonio College is a public community college which is part of the Alamo Colleges District. The college has been accredited by the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools Commission on Colleges to award associate degrees and certificates. The 2018-2019 student population of 21,280 makes it the largest community college in Texas with only one campus.

Students applying for admission should submit high school transcripts or high school equivalency documentation. GED scores should be submitted. Students may alternatively submit HiSET scores or scores from the TASC test. International students should submit scores from either the TOEFL exam or the IELTS exam for proof of proficiency in English. Entering students must take the TSI Assessment for placement in English, Reading, and Mathematics. Exemptions to the TSI requirement include certain scores on either the ACT or the SAT test. Certain scores on the TAKS exam or the STAAR test may also be used for exemption. Students who have already passed a college level English or Mathematics course are exempt as well as veterans and active members of the military.

Students interested in enrolling in a special program such as nursing will be required to meet additional admissions criteria. The Associate of Applied Science Degree in Nursing program requires GPA of no less than 2.7 in all pre-nursing science courses as well as minimum scores on the ATI TEAS exam. The nursing program at the college has been accredited by the Accreditation Commission for Education in Nursing (ACEN) and approved by the state Board of Nursing. Graduates of the program may sit for the NCLEX-RN licensure exam. They will be able to enter the workforce or may transfer to a four-year institution to complete a bachelor’s degree. The Associate of Arts in Teaching program allows students to begin working toward teaching credentials and then transfer to a university to complete their requirements. The college also offers both certificate programs and an Associate of Applied Science Degree in Early Childhood Education. The Alamo Colleges District also offers an Educator Certification Program which allows students who already hold a bachelor’s degree to obtain a teaching certificate. Students who are interested in enrolling in this program must already have a bachelor’s degree with a minimum GPA of 3.0.
